Chandler, once a quiet farm town, has become one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. Today, more than 250,000 people call Chandler home.  The City was founded by the first veterinarian appointed to serve the Arizona Territory. Dr. A.J. Chandler turned the desert into a booming oasis by building canals to bring water to the dry, dusty terrain. The Town of Chandler was formed in 1912 and incorporated in 1920.  In recent years, Chandler has  experienced a successful diversification process. Its agricultural base has given way to high tech industries, earning Chandler the nickname of “Silicon Desert” and allowing residents to enjoy one of the highest per capita incomes in the Southwest.

The City is centrally located in the rapidly growing Southeast Valley region and is conveniently located 20 miles southeast of Phoenix and Sky Harbor International Airport.

Gilbert has received national attention for its friendly atmosphere, excellent schools, and unmatched expansion. Over the past 20 years, Gilbert has been named one of the fastest growing towns in the country. Even with such growth, in 2009, Gilbert was named the safest municipality in Arizona and the 24th safest community. Business Week named us one of the best places to raise your kids and CNN Money ranked us as the 31st best place to live in 2010.

Gilbert boasts a high school graduation rate exceeding 90% and is bordered by Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Arizona State’s Polytechnic Campus, Northern Arizona University’s East Valley campus and AT Still University – four incredible institutions. Gilbert boasts three state-of-the-art hospitals – Banner Gateway Medical Center, Gilbert Hospital, and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center – and recently celebrated the groundbreaking of Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, a nationally respected cancer treatment facility.

Gilbert is serviced by Sky Harbor Phoenix International Airport and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport – both within 15 miles. The recent addition of hotels and a conference center make Gilbert a destination for leisure or business travel. We invite you to enjoy some sunny days in Gilbert – the town to live, work and play!

Mesa, located in Maricopa County, is one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities.  Mesa is the third-largest city in Arizona and the nation’s 38th-largest city. The City provides the advantages of a thriving metropolis while maintaining the feel of a suburban environment.  Just 15 miles east of Phoenix, Mesa covers 132 square miles.

With dynamic recreational, educational and business environments, Mesa enjoys the best in a variety of amenities including parks within easy walking distance from home, a variety of sports facilities that cater to athletes young and old, highly rated golf courses for every skill level, a diversity of special events and community festivals, and Mesa’s ever-popular Chicago Cubs Spring Training baseball.

Scottsdale, located in the beautiful Sonoran Desert, is bordered by Phoenix to the west and the McDowell Mountains on the east.  Scottsdale is annually rated among the nation’s most desirable communities to live in, visit and do business in.

Scottsdale’s vibrant downtown is considered the finest urban center in Arizona. It is home to more than 90 restaurants, 320 retail shops and more than 80 art galleries.  Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve, in the city’s northern reaches, is the largest urban wilderness area in the United States and features more than 60 miles of trails through diverse and scenic desert terrain.

Scottsdale is the winter training home of the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona DiamondBacks.

Tempe is among Arizona’s most educated cities. With more than a dozen colleges, trade schools and universities, about 40 percent of our residents over the age of 25 have Bachelor’s degrees or better. This lends itself to a creative, smart atmosphere where anything seems possible. And why not? People and businesses in Tempe have worked on projects including the Mars Rover, implanted heart defibrulators, solar engery and much more.

Tempe is a workforce importer, with 155,000 people employed in our city of just 161,000 residents. With Tempe being located in the center of the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area, Tempe is an easy commute – especially with our great transportation system and light rail.

Tempe’s is home to two Fortune 500 companies and is a great environment and provides a talented workforce for emerging businesses.  Top employers include companies such as Insight Computers, Arizona State University, Wells Fargo, Edward Jones and US Airway. Tempe is also a hotbed for technology with about 20% of its jobs in the technology field.

Tempe is also the winter training home of the Los Angeles Angels and the San Francisco Giants.
